1975 | Richard M. Hamlin and David L. Brennan form the Brenlin Group and purchased Hamlin Metal Products. Company name changed to Hamlin Steel Products. During early 1970’s, Automotive parts make up 100% of sales. Chrysler making up the majority of sales. |
1977 | Hamlin diversifies product line and enters into Industrial and Trailer Wheel segment. Soon after, Wheels make up 50% of total sales. |
1980's | Sales / growth fluctuates between Wheels and Automotive Parts, as a Tier 1 supplier to Chrysler and Ford. |
1990's | Hamlin earns three Q.E. awards and two Preferred Supplier awards (Chrysler). Hamlin turns focus to Tier 1 companies and adds Assembly capabilities. Hamlin earned QS9000 and ISO9002 Certificate

2007 | Hamlin acquires Protek Ltd. in Alliance, Ohio creating Hamlin Newco LLC. Purchase adds over 80 new products and increases capacity 50% for 65 to 400 Ton production. |
2009 | Hamlin Newco, LLC becomes the primary business name. |
